Small Business Resource Center
Did you know that 93% of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce members are small to medium sized businesses? 66% of the companies have 1-20 employees. 27% of the business have between 21 and 100 employees.
The Chamber wants to help these members by providing more resources and events specifically designed for these members.
Introducing the Small Business Resource Center!
The mission of the SBRC is to provide assistance to small business owners at little or no cost to the owner or to the Chamber of Commerce.
Many small business owners need assistance with:
- Legal (starting a business, contracts, etc.)
- Finance (banking, accounting, taxes, etc.)
- Insurance (liability, key employee, etc.)
- HR (staffing, compliance, etc.)
- Planning (business plan, strategies, etc.)
- Sales & Marketing (traditional, online, etc.)
How Can You Help?
In order for this to work, we need assistance from Chamber members. Specifically, we need some members to become mentors in their area of expertise.
How Can a Mentor Assist the Chamber?
A mentor is a service and community oriented individual who wants to help other chamber members in his or her area of expertise.
Look at the list above. Are you an expert in one of those areas? If so, are you willing to donate a few hours a month to help other Chamber members?
If the answer is yes, we would love to talk to you about becoming a mentor. For more information, please apply to become a mentor.
